Our lab is stocked with the most common active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used in medical devices. A significant number of these APIs are antimicrobial compounds such as silver, iodine, and biguanide-based materials. These ingredients are commonly formulated or coated onto hard and soft materials for incorporation into devices. Formulations are commonly at a level below 1%w/w of the whole device.

We employ rapid, cost-effective evaluations to assess API incorporation.
